I grabbed this to compare to DVDRip of the same film. This version is sharper and includes more detail but it is much grainier with more lines and other distracting noise in the picture.

I'd wait for a BluRay release and hold onto the dvd which looks better upscaled to 720p then this does raw.

SheldorTheConquerer , Those Lines and grain is from the original film print. Its just not as clearly visible in the non transparant DVD version. Those lines and grain you see mean that the Rip is really close to the original quality of the film.

While not perfect, this version is clearly better than the DVDRip.
